In a joint venture, Heitkamp Erd- und Straßenbau GmbH has started the construction work for the new Wupper-valley-bridge in the course of the motorway A1 in the direction of Cologne.

The new, 500 m-long bridge will be built on six bridge piers. Thereafter, the autobahn A1 will be enlarged over a length of 1.3 km to three traffic lanes.

The sum of the contract amounts to 22.0 Mio. Euro.
